Aged Benzoin, Indonesia 70/30 TEC

I have yet to met a Benzoin that I didn't love, but this one is particularly nice. This comes from grade AA Indonesian tears, which are aged before extraction. After an absolute is formed through solvent extraction, the material is cured again and the resulting material is dense, sweet, and hard as a rock. We then spend several days with the absolute in a slow bain-marie to gently render pourable in a concentration of 70/30 with TEC.

This is a sweet one, and a high content of cinnimic alcohol and avoids going too much towards the styrene notes due to the way it is aged and processed.
